Where our Food Come From
We're keeping it local!
With a longstanding commitment to excellence, we take pride in serving exceptional cuisine amidst a stunning waterfront setting. Our strong partnership with local suppliers guarantees the authenticity and superior quality of our ingredients. For meat, cheese, dairy, and West Coast Salmon, we rely on Roy Forsyth at Letterfinlay, Fort William—a trusted family-run business catering to a range of customers, from croft owners to castle dwellers. James MacLean, based in Ballachulish, carefully sources the finest fish and shellfish from nearby locations such as Benderloch, Arisaig, the Isle of Mull, the Isle of Skye, the Isle of Islay, and the stretch between Oban and Mallaig.
When it comes to coffee and teas, we turn to Brodies, an esteemed coffee and tea merchant in Edinburgh since 1867. Our delectable black pudding is from the Famous MacLeod family in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, while MacSween's of Edinburgh specialises exclusively in producing the finest haggis at their dedicated factory. Fruits and vegetables are supplied by Breckenridge, a trusted family-run business based in Oban. By embracing the offerings of these local suppliers, we ensure that each dish we serve embodies the authentic flavours of our region, creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
