Q: Is the helicopter in this photo real?
A: Yes, the pier is mentioned as a landing site in a couple of flying guides. We get quite a lot of helicopters landing and even more passing over the sea loch in front of us. Connel airport is around 15 miles away and is a popular refuelling point. The helicopter in the photo phoned ahead and said when they were going to land and so we were ready with a camera.
